Thanksgiving and then some

Well, first off, we were so EXCITED to have my sister and her fam come to visit. We got to see little Malia for the first time and she is just darling. Here is a picture we took of the 3 grandkids on the Tietjen side of the family. My mom bought Malia and Ashley matching outfits. Thanks Grandma Kris!

Thanksgiving was very nice. We had dinner with my family, over at the Burgess' home. And I didn't take a whole lot of pictures, but here are a couple of the kiddos.

Trevor played lots of the games with Grandma and Grandpa. Here he just made a goal. Yeah!

He stopped to cheese it for the camera. Notice he's using the fooz balls. He just thought it was fun to hit them back and forth.

Here is Ashley bundled and ready to go shopping with mommy on Black Friday. (It didn't go so well. We went to one store and had to go home because she was fussy and tired.)


And now some exciting news...we FINALLY got ourselves a christmas tree after 4 years of marriage and it's awesome. We were looking at christmas trees at a bunch of different stores and to make a long story short, we ended up getting a pre-decorated christmas tree at Tai Pan for 75% off the original price (thanks Susan for your awesome negotiating skills). What a steal. It would have ended up costing us about the same or more to do everything ourselves. Here she is...

The picture just doesn't do it justice. But atleast you have an idea. The theme for this tree is "Dr. Seuss". So fun!

And last but not least, I took the kids to see Santa at the mall. Trevor was a little unsure about it, until I stuck Ashley on his lap. Then he decided it probably wouldn't be so bad. Plus he got a coloring book. Isn't he such a cute Santa?
