Well, I haven't done any weekly updates on my pregnancy, but here's where we're at:
-Again I am contracting a lot this pregnancy, so I have been on Nifedepine, which is a pill that helps to relax the uterus and keep it from contracting, for the last month. It helps but, I still feel them all the time.
-I have been dilated to 2 cm since 28 weeks. (Although no change since then, so that's good.)
-I haven't been too sick, but I feel exhausted all the time. I think that having a 2 year old to tend this time around is the reason.
-We FINALLY chose a name for our sweet girl. Ashley. No middle name decided yet.
-I've gained 14 pounds so far.
-EVERYONE keeps telling me how small I am and it's making me self conscious. It's getting really old. Baby is measuring a little small, but nothing too concerning. I measured small with my first and he was a healthy 7 pounds 3 ounces.
-I love to listen to my baby's little heart beat with my stethoscope.
-I stil don't think Trevor understands what is going on, but he does give my belly kisses when we tell him to give the baby a kiss. He won't say baby, but he does know how to "sign" it.

Crib bedding
My crib bedding finally came and I absolutely love it. I haven't set it up yet, but I can't wait. Here is a picture of it. This pic shows a white crib sheet, but it's really the light pink that you see in the pattern. I can't believe this baby is going to be here so soon. Gosh, am I ready for two kids?

Bring on the pictures
Here are just a couple of pictures I wanted to share. My camera was "out of business" for too long, so now I have some to share.
Me with my siblings at a family Christmas party. We all showed up wearing the same color. So of course we HAD to get a picture.

Baby Update
Well, IT'S A GIRL for the Cox fam this time around. We are so excited. Everything looked great with baby on the ultrasound. She is due August 18th. (3 days after Trev's birthday). So they'll be exactly 2 years apart. I know he'll be a great big brother. He is so sweet around little babies. It will be so fun to have one of each. As for names...we haven't hardly even talked about them. But we'll keep you posted.

Baby's got a boo-boo
I know, it's been awhile, but I've come on here so many times thinking I should post something, but have nothing. My life has been so uneventful it seems. However I now have something a little unfortunate to report. My poor little guy has a sprained ankle. We went to the park the other night to watch Bill play tennis with a friend. Trev and I decided to go test out the slides on the playground. We were having a blast and Trevor kept telling me "more, more!" Well, on the last slide of the night his leg got caught between my leg and the slide and bent it back. I have never heard such a sad cry. He went on for about 45 min. I knew something was wrong, because my baby is not a crier. Well, it was late, so after calming him down we gave him some motrin and put him to bed. When he woke in the morning he had that pained cry again. He wouldn't walk or even stand on his leg. So we took him to the doctor's office where they recommended we get an x-ray done. Apparantly the same thing happened the week before and the child had severe breaks. Luckily it was not broken, just sprained. But it's so hard to see my 18 mo. old son get frustrated because he can't get up and run around. I have to admit I do love that he wants to be held and cuddled all the time now.

My Wonderful Husband
So this is my official little "shout out," if you will, for my husband. I have to let him know how much I appreciate him. He is amazing. I love him so so much. He has been so great these last few months taking care of Trevor for me and putting up with my complaints about not feeling good and my crazy moodiness...(oh, by the way, surprise! we're pregnant again!) And let me just say it's been worse this second time around. Thanks for putting up with me babe!

This and That
Well, nothing exciting to report. But I felt like I needed to post something. Bill is busy as always. He's always finding things to do. I swear he's always got something going on, but I'm not complaining. He enjoys the work, and when the market has been so slow lately, its good he's got stuff going on. I play mommy all day everyday and then go to work 2 nights a week. We've been super slow in the NICU for months now. So I've gotten called off a few times lately. Although Sunday night I got floated over to labor and delivery which is always a nice change. I go to all the deliveries and do the baby stuff. Making sure they come out breathing etc., giving shots, bathing, and helping mommies breast feed. yeah! It was nice not getting called off...again. Trevor went through a few weeks where I thought he was never going to be not sick. It was just one thing after another. But I am happy to report he is happy and healthy at the moment. He is getting too tall for his own good--getting into even more than he had before, and he's started throwing tantrums. We are approaching those terrible twos.....maybe he'll get it out of his system by then???? Well, I've got 10 days off until I work again, so maybe we'll do something exciting to post about...
